Dispensations in the Bible

Someone had asked me few weeks ago what are the dispensatios in the Bible. I did a little research and this is what I found. I thought this would be great to share with everyone just in case there might be someone that was not too sure about the different dispensations.

1. First Dispensation: Innocent (Genesis 1:26; Genesis 2:16-17; Genesis 3:22-24)




2. Second Dispensation: Under Conscience (Genesis 3:7, 22; Genesis 6:5, 11-12; Genesis 7:11-23)




3. Third Dispensation: Government (Genesis 9:1-2; Genesis 11:1-4; Genesis 11: 5-8)




4. Fourth Dispensation: Promise (Genesis 12:1-3; Genesis 13: 14-17; Genesis 26:3; Genesis 28:12-13; Exodus 1:13-14)




5. Fifth Dispensation: Law (Exodus 19:1-8; 2nd Kings 17:1-18; Acts 2:22-23; Acts 7:51-52; Romans 3:19-20; Romans 10:5; Galatians 3:10)




6. Six Dispensation: Grace (Matthew 25:31-46; Matthew 24: 29-30)




7. Seventh Dispensation: Tribulation (Revelation 6:1-20; Revelations 22:4; Revelations 20:4)




8. Eighth Dispensation: Under the Personal Reign of Christ "Millennial Reign" (Revelations 20:3, 7-15; Revelations 20:4-20)
