It is impossible for me to count and name all of my blessings because the Lord has blessed me in so many ways. It is a blessing to be alive today. It is a blessing to have the opportunity to breath without an oxygen tank. It is a blessing to be able to walk on my own. It is a blessing to have good health. It is a blessing to be able to speak or listen. Just having the functionality of my body parts is a blessing. There are so many people who never got the opportunity to be alive today. There are people who didn’t get the opportunity to do things on their own, or can move certain parts of their body. Those of us who are able to do those things should count it a blessing.
Everyone might have different job levels but it is a blessing to have a job. It doesn’t matter if you clean bathrooms or is the president of your own company. It should be counted has a blessing from God. We should never look down on another person who has less and say we are more bless than they are because there are times when that is not true.
One thing I learned about receiving a blessing is to share that blessing with someone else. When we share our blessings to others, it opens the door for the Lord to shower us with more blessings. I am a living witness to this and if you doubt it—give it a try. If God bless you with a car, give others who don’t have a car a ride to church when necessary. The same thing goes for financial blessings. If the Lord blessed you financially, give to those that are in need.
This goes back to the verse that states that we should do unto other as we would like them to do unto us. I am sure when we are in need we would love for someone to lend a helping hand. So why not do the same for someone that is in need? You never know when you will be in need of their help.
Parent it is a blessing to have children. There are many out there that can not give birth to a child.
Children it is a blessing to be raised by God fearing parents. If you have both parents living together that is also a blessing. There are many children who have to go through parent’s separation or be raised by one parent.
Having the opportunity to serve the Lord without having to hid in caves or be afraid of going to jail if someone hear us praying. We live in a country that allows us to serve God without any punishment.
I was browsing online and came across this article:
Think for a moment about how different your life would be if you were born
in a land isolated from God and filled with extreme poverty, sickness, and
disease. What would it be like if you were born in an area where praying to an
idol or giving homage to an ancestor was your only hope? What if constant fear
of evil spirits consumed your life? Wouldn't you want someone to share God's
life-giving message of salvation with you?We have received God's light, but it is not just for us. As Christians, we are called to shine God's light in the darkness.
Ø We are blessed! - Every day we enjoy clean, hot running
water -- without a thought.
Ø We are blessed! - Our typical meals often include
ingredients from all around the world: fruit from California and the Polynesian
islands, olive oil from Italy and the Middle East and perhaps coffee from
Columbia (just try looking at your food labels for a few days). We eat better
than the ancient kings!
Ø We are blessed! - Most of us, with only a few quick calls
to a credit card company and a local travel agency, could likely travel next
month to any destination in the world if we really wanted to (not that I'm
advocating debt, but if reaching people is our priority, our budgets can be made
to accommodate).
God has given us the greatest "Good News" of all time and a job
description to "Get this news out!" He has given us an abundance of resources to
accomplish the task and a challenge that "To whom much is given, from him much
will be required" (Luke 12:48).

This might not be a long blog entry but it is something to think about. Think about the blessings in your life and think about how you can share that blessing with someone else.
