Sitting and thinking of the best gifts I can ever receive. So many try their hardest best to shop long and hard for the "perfect" gift. Then those who don't know what to give default to a gift card.
But I am so glad that one day my God gave me the best gift of all - JESUS. The one who came and brought salvation to a sinner as I. So many people get caught up with their gifts that they forget about the greatest gift that was given to mankind.
One way to show our appreciation for the gift of God is to share the gospel with others. Telling others about the utlimate savior can change a person's life and give them the oppertunity to embrace that gift.
As the new year approaches so many people are making plans for a better year and listing what they want to accomplish. We can always wish for a better year but does it really get better. To me it seems like the years bring on more challenges in our lives. That is why I pray to the Lord to give me strength to go through whatever will be coming my way in 2010.
No one knows what 2010 will bring but let us draw closer to the Lord. Try to increase your relationship with the Lord by praying more effectively, studying the Bible, fasting more, and focusing more on the things he wants us to do. This is not the time to be side tracked or weak in our spiritual lives.
As you go through this holiday season don't forget to put the first person first - JESUS. God bless you and I wish you the best.
